PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by PullString, Inc. ("PullString") as follows:

  1. Platform Users: This Privacy Policy applies to information collected from you when you use the PullString Platform (the "Platform"), create a Platform account on the PullString website (the "Site"), use the PullString Author App (the "App") to create chatbots, AI Agents and other conversational experiences ("Bots"), host such Bots on PullString's server infrastructure (the "Hosting Service"), or otherwise in connection with any related services to which you have subscribed as a user of the Platform (a "Platform User"); and

  2. PullString End Users: This Privacy Policy applies to information collected when you interact with Bots created and operated by PullString on its own behalf ("PullString Bots") as an end user (a "PullString End User").This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected from end users who interact with Bots created by Platform Users ("Third-Party Bots"), whether or not they are hosted through the Hosting Service. Such Third-Party Bots are governed by the privacy policy of the Third Party Bot owner , and any information collected by PullString in connection with any Third-Party Bots is solely collected on behalf of the Bot owner.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Platform to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

Collection of Information

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, for Platform Users, we may collect information when you create an account with PullString, fill out a form, create a project, publish a Bot, request support, send us an email, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, fax number, credit card information and other contact or identifying information you choose to provide.

For PullString End Users, PullString may collect information you provide when conversing with Bots (e.g. chat text when interacting with a Bot).

Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Platform

When you access or use the Platform as a Platform User, we may automatically collect information about you, including:

  • Log Information: We log information about your use of the Platform, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to the Platform.
  • Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access the Platform, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.
  • Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that helps us to better understand how the Platform is used and improve the Platform and your experience. We may also collect information using web beacons (also known as "tracking pixels"). Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in the Platform or emails and help deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon. When PullString End Users log in and access Bots through a third party platform, PullString may have access to certain information provided by such third party platform, such as name, locale, time zone, gender and profile picture.

Use of Information

We may use information about you for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform and the PullString Bots;
  • Provide and deliver the services you request, and the services we provide to Platform Users, and to process transactions and send you related information, including confirmations and invoices,
  • Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
  • Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service;
  • Communicate with you about products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events offered by PullString and others, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you;
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with the Platform and the PullString Bots;
  • Detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of PullString and others;
  • Personalize and improve the Platform and the PullString Bots;
  • Process and deliver contest entries and rewards;
  • Link or combine with information we get from others to help understand your needs and provide you with better service; and
  • Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.

Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries

PullString is based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the Platform or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.

In connection with PullString's processing of personal data it receives from the EU ("EU Data"), PullString adheres to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework Principles issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce (the "Principles"). For more information about the Principles, please visit the Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield website. Please direct any inquiries or complaints regarding our compliance with the Principles to the point of contact listed in the "Contact Us" section below. If PullString does not resolve your complaint, you may submit your complaint free of charge to JAMS at https://www.jamsadr.com/file-an-eu-us-privacy-shield-or-safe-harbor-claim, PullString's designated Privacy Shield dispute resolution provider. Under certain conditions specified by the Principles, you may also be able to invoke binding arbitration to resolve your complaint. PullString is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission. PullString assumes responsibility for EU Data that it shares with third-party service providers when they process that data on PullString's behalf unless PullString demonstrates that it was not responsible for the events giving rise to the damage. Sharing of Information

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

  • With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;
  • In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation or legal process, or as otherwise required by any applicable law, rule or regulation;
  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of PullString or others;
  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company; and
  • With your consent or at your direction, including if we notify you through the Platform or otherwise that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.

We may also share aggregated or anonymized information that does not directly identify you.

Please note that any projects you create using the Platform ("Projects") that are designated as "public" (including all project creating using a "free" subscription plan) may be publicly viewable, including any information about you that may be contained in such Project.

Analytics Services

We may use third parties to provide analytics services. These entities may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Platform and other websites, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used by PullString and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity.

Security

PullString takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

Your Choices

Account Information

Platform Users may update, correct or delete information provided to us in connection with your Platform account at any time by logging into your account on the Site and going to the Settings page. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, this may also be done through the Settings page, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

End Users

When you interact with PullString Bots, PullString does not collect, retain or disclose personal data about PullString End Users except to the extent that personal data may incidentally be included as part of Bot conversations. You may choose what information to disclose during the Bot conversation and may choose not to include any personal information in your conversations.

Cookies

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Removing or rejecting browser cookies does not necessarily affect third party flash cookies used in connection with our Services. To delete or disable flash cookies please visit www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/security for more information. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of the Platform.

Promotional Communications

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from PullString by following the instructions in those emails . If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

Diagnostics and Crash Reports

Diagnostics and crash reports are automatically sent to PullString to assist us in fixing problems that may arise. If you do not want these reports to be automatically sent to PullString, you may opt out of this through the Setting page.

Mobile Push Notifications/Alerts

With your consent, we may send promotional and non-promotional push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.
